The much-desired creation by the world-renowned Butoh company will premiere in Kitakyushu!
Sankai Juku, a butoh company that has toured the world in 48 countries since 1980 and continues to receive high acclaim in Japan and abroad. The 6 previous creations were coproduced with Kitakyushu performing arts center since 2005 among the 16 works with Théâtre de la Ville, Paris since 1982. They continue to fascinate audiences with their sophisticated expression and beauty of stage art as they approach the universal inner essence of human beings, such as "birth" and "death". Their much-desired new work in four years will premiere in Kitakyushu. Don't miss the beginning of a new history.
