Nonverbal work based on "birdsong"
Our popular series of high-quality international productions that can be enjoyed by children as young as pre-elementary school age. This time we will be presenting a new work by Andy Manley, who is well known for creating works for very young audiences! He has worked on a number of productions, including "White," which was also performed in Kitakyushu in 2018 to great acclaim. This is a non-verbal performance for children and adults to enjoy watching, listening, and being guided by the "birdsong" using birds' chirps and songs as a motif! Enjoyable even if you don't understand the language, this is the perfect first theatrical experience for children! (Mainly for ages 3-6)
Shh---.
What was that?
A whimper?
Squeal?
A bird?
It's getting louder and louder.
Oh, my God...
What happens when you want to be alone and everyone around you doesn't...
Andy expresses this with great curiosity and playfulness.
