The much-desired new production by the world-renowned Butoh company will premiere in Kitakyushu
Sankai Juku, known with its beauty of dance and stage art, has contributed most to promote and disseminate the Butoh form of dance, that deals with gravity and the internal emotions of dancers. They have toured in 48 countries since 1975. The 5 previous works were coproduced with Kitakyushu performing arts center since 2005 among the 15 works with Theatre de la Ville de Paris since 1982. Their much-desired new work in four years will premiere in Kitakyushu. Don't miss the beginning of a new history.
