Precious collection of new works with vivid colors and fascinating sensations.
This is a long-awaited new work by a French choreographer, Philippe Decouflé who is famous for directing the 1992 Albertville Olympic ceremonies and Cirque du Soleil. The five short pieces in this work contain powerful and acrobatic dance performances, colorful costumes inspired by Nigerian ethnic designs, tricky and artistic visual expressions, and his homage to Japanese culture such as Kabuki and Hokusai’s woodcut works. Four years since Panorama, Decouflé is coming back to Kitakyushu. Do not miss Decouflé’s world filled with vivid colors and fascinating sensations.
